lyrics

Father in the name of Jesus I thank you for the opportunity to do something that really enjoy doing and thats make music. And I thank you for every person that has ever heard a song that I have ever written. I want them to know that I'm doing this for a purpose. And that purpose is to not make them sing or dance. I mean, I don't mind if they sing or dance. But, I'm doing this because I want them to hear you. I want them to know that kingdom advance is my focus so I'm not wasting my lyrics. I pour my heart out on my songs and I want people to hear it. And I want You to approve it. I want Your Spirit to use it to change a life. This is ministry. I just don't wanna do music. I am not an entertainer and I don't know how to perform. But when I speak I want my words to help bring peace to their storm, drive sickness out of folks bodies, and with the truth set em free, and help set they minds on things above. That's what I call ministry. My favorite times on the mic is when I'm closing my eyes with my attention on Jesus; the reason that I'm alive. And when my eyelids come open I feel like I should have kept em closed. Cause I'm on stage in front of people like I've just been exposed. I hope their eyes are on Jesus and they ain't come to see me. Cause I'll just disappoint em. I only brought ministry. I don't think I could impress em with similes nouns and verbs. That's why homologio; I fill my words with your word. Holy Spirit, the teacher, I hope my songs can help em learn. Hope you can back em with power to demonstrate and confirm. And if my life is my worship, and if you've called me to praise, let what I do in my home not change when I hit the stage. I'm not swag. I'm not street. That's not what I'm supposed to be. I worship you as J-Heir. That's what I call ministry. If my support for my brotha will help this message get out, Kingdom advance is my focus I told you that's what I'm bout. He's got some things I don't have and he can reach folks that I can't. For the work of the ministry we are both perfecting the saints. I ain't gon sensor the truth cause some folk ain't gonna like it. If You say speak it, I 'll speak it. If You say write it, I'll write it. To amplify it I mic it. Then I record and export it. If they don't want to support they have the choice to ignore it. I realize its not my news I've just been asked to report it. And I'm no yellow journalist. Your truth will not be distorted. So if some people don't hear it don't let be cause of me and my refusal to obey and fulfill my ministry. Cause when my time here is done I wanna hear, "Well done." Not motivated by money but I do expect it come. The price was paid for salvation but to preach your gospel ain't free. Provision comes for the vision of my call in ministry. Whether I'm preaching or rapping, or giving gifts to the poor, or simply raising my children, It's done as unto you Lord. I was an immature kid You help me be a good man. Keep our relationship first. That's how this thing all began. And I just want to spill over on every thing that I'm doing. Your Spirit led my endeavors. This not some dream I'm pursuing. In fact, it's still overwhelming that you have enabled me. And that you counted me faithful and put me in ministry. Only you knew this would happen the day I gave you my life. Gave me this ram in the thicket just as I lifted the knife. My life I lost it found it. Corn of wheat fell down and died. So I'm not abiding alone with big potential inside. And what my ears didn't hear, and what my eyes couldn't see, you have revealed by your spirit as you birthed this ministry. I know we just getting started but I'm glad we're working together. And since this life is a vapor it makes it worth it forever. And I'll forever be grateful. You're faithful; always there for me. As long as breath in my body I'll give you HONOR & GLORY ... in ministry.
